IMPAC Dublin Literary Awards

In November 2012 the Lord Mayor of Dublin announced that a longlist of 156 titles have been nominated for the €100,000 prize for the Impac Dublin Award for 2013. It is the world’s most valuable annual literary prize for a single work of fiction published in English and is a Dublin City Council initiative, in partnership with IMPAC. 

I really like this award because only librarians may submit nominations, and I've always trusted librarians. They also published their complete longlist, not all awards do and I am always disappointed by that. I don't always favour the winners but I do find many outstanding reads among the nominated titles.
